Taking a course
Who are the courses for?
Adults who want a written method for ordinary life admin — messages, letters, clinic questions, scam checks, photos, household figures — using an everyday AI assistant. The work is aimed at people of 55 and over. Younger adults take the same seats when the task is theirs. We do not run a separate youth syllabus.
Do I need to be “good with computers”?
You need to be able to read large-print English and to copy a sentence onto a tablet with guidance in session 1. The foundation programme starts at L0 (watching) and is built to reach L2 (adapting a card). We do not teach typing from zero, and we do not recover passwords or create e-mail accounts in the two hours.
Must I install an application before I arrive?
No. Tablets are lent on the day. Session 1 always uses those tablets. From session 2 you may use a phone that already has an assistant you can open without help. The keep line is still written on paper.
What is the group size, and how long is a sitting?
Eight seats. Two hours. Four sittings per programme. Tea at 1:00. The minute-by-minute clock is on the home page. Closed groups at partner venues keep the same splits.
Fees and cancellation
What does a programme cost?
S$480 per person for any of the six four-session programmes. A closed group of eight is S$3,840 for that programme. A refresher clinic is S$120 for one two-hour Saturday seat. Cards, tea and tablet loan are included. Full figures sit on formats & fees.
When do I pay?
After we confirm that a seat exists, we send an invoice. The seat is held when that invoice is paid, before session 1. We do not hold unpaid seats across a weekend. Bank details are on the invoice, not on this website.
What if I miss a week?
A missed sitting is not refunded and is not issued as a recording. If the studio cancels a sitting, that sitting is rearranged or the fee for that sitting is returned. A remaining seat may be transferred before session 2 if the incoming learner can start at the same rung — write first.
Safety, stated as rules
The six rails are issued on the loop card in session 1. They are stop conditions, not atmosphere. Rule 3 is taught in the first hour of every course.
Will the course tell me whether an SMS is a scam?
The course teaches you to inspect wording for payment, urgency and secrecy, and to stop at check (c). It will not certify that a number or a link is harmless. We do not tap unknown links on the lent tablets. If you need a live case handled, use the channels you already have — the organisation named on a bill, or the police reporting routes you already know — not an assistant as a verdict.
Can the assistant advise on medicine or money?
No. Rule 5 is fixed. We use the tool to prepare questions and to shape wording. Diagnosis, dosage, legal action and investment choices stay with the professional and with you.
What we do not do
Do you certify people or name a brand of assistant?
No certificates, no brand partnership as the syllabus. The four passes apply on a phone, a laptop or a lent tablet. Tool reference describes surfaces, not products to buy.
Is there a team page or a named instructor I can request?
The organisation speaks as the studio. We do not publish biographies, portraits or a request-a-person booking. The method is the product; the sitting is eight seats and a clock.
Can you come to my home for one-to-one tuition?
Not as a standard format. Closed groups are eight seats in a host room. If one-to-one support is required throughout, the group of eight is the wrong product; we will say so rather than sell the seat.
Do you help with account recovery or installing apps?
No. That work consumes a sitting without producing a card. Arrive able to sit at a tablet we provide, or with a phone whose assistant you can already open.
